If you have comments, suggestions & reports, please feel free to contact me! In Version 3 I started to add windows and (partial) FreeBSD support - see docs. Since version 2 nearly all functionality is available for OS X/Darwin platforms. I was only able to test it on several Debian, Raspbian, Ubuntu distributions as well as macOS (Mavericks, Yosemite, El Captain, Sierra, High Sierra) and some Windows, FreeBSD and SunOS machines. I am sure, there is for sure room for improvement. Like before with callbacks OR with promises (see example in this documentation). Another big change is, that all functions now return promises. Requires now node.js version 4.0 and above. Version 3 comes with further improvements. Node.js comes with some basic OS information, but I always wanted a little more. You can find all changes here: detailed changelog Core concept Version 3.42.0: added parent process PID processes().Version 3.43.0: added speed per CPU core cpuCurrentspeed().Version 3.44.0: battery() added type, model, manufacturer, serial, timeremaining.Version 3.45.0: diskLayout() added S.M.A.R.T.Version 3.46.0: version() added system openssl version (besides the one inside node.js).Version 3.47.0: version() added docker, postfix.
